American Idol is on! With a new Judge Kara ....

The new season of american idol has taken off and it seems its going to be good especially with the addition of the new judge Kara! Kara got into it with a bikini clad girl who had a great body and could sing. The only thing odd about the bikini girl was that she shook her head in a funny way when she sang. Any who , Kara and Paula i might add did not seem to like that this girl was in a bikini. The guys Simon and Randy seemed to like it though.

One sign that the ladies were not impressed was when Kara asked the bikini girl to turn around to show off her derrierre and then tried to outsing the girl! It was interesting to watch and i think there'll be more sparks between these two if bikini girl makes it far in the competition so stay tuned to American Idol!

Man wants his donated Kidney back as part of divorce settlement

I was watching Larry King last night and he interviewed this guy that wants his donated kidney from his soon to be ex-wife. Its a crazy story: he says what he actually wants are his kids who she seems to be turning against him.


Watching him though, he seemed to be hurt by the fact that he could not see his kids. My question is after risking life and limb to save his wife's life why would she turn around and hurt him this way and do her actions call for this bizzare request for his kidney back?


Hopefully there is a positive to this story: that organ donors really do help people? Here's the story on video.

First Lady Laura Bush to run for office?

First Lady Laura Bush seems to be taking an active in international issues and is speaking about it in this interview.If you recall Senator Hillary Clinton was very involved in the white house with international affairs when she was first lady lady and then later ran for office basing her credentials on her time and involvement with issues during her time at the white house. African movie sheds light on slavery?

This is a very interesting Nigerian movie. Its a mix of suspense and romance. The king of a town is unseated unscrupulously by his jealous brother by way of death. This brother is involved in nefarious activities that are down right mortifying which include capturing and selling people including his late brothers daughter the princess into slavery.

His daughter was no better and carried out his questionable requests with the hope that she would someday be the princess which did happen ( she had always been jealous of her cousin the princess)

But ofcourse things dont really work out too well for the bad guys in the movies and this movie was no different. The real princess did find her way back home from a foreign land and her fathers nefarious brother got his just dessert!

I always wonder what happens to the AI alumni after the show is done or when they get booted off. This is a movie that probes the practice of alternative lifestyles in Nigeria. It is the story of a girl whose mother was so scared her daughter would sleep with men get pregnant and either die from an abortion attempt or maybe bring disgrace to her family. Well maybe her fear caused her to turn her daughter off of men and on to women?Watch part of the movie below and decide for yourself!
